I graduated from New York University in 1978, and Brooklyn Law School in 1981. After working in New York City for a long-established appellate law firm, I moved to the Hudson Valley, where I have lived and worked ever since, doing civil and criminal appeals, litigation, and criminal defense. I was the chief appellate attorney for the Dutchess County Public Defender, where I handled most of the criminal appeals for the office. Since starting my own practice in 2009, I have handled both civil and criminal appeals, criminal defense, and civil litigation.
